Ticket Office

Concerts are performed in Mandeville Auditorium on the UCSD campus unless noted otherwise. Sightlines are generally good throughout the auditorium. The auditorium is divided into two sections: “permanent seats” (indicated by single letters) and “non-permanent seats” (indicated by double letters). The non-permanent seats afford a closer view of the performers but are not attached to the floor and require the ability to navigate a few shallow steps.

The auditorium is handicap accessible. If you require special seating needs, please call the Ticket Office to make your reservation. For ticket information, call 858-534-4637.

You must be 65 years or older.

What is your late seating policy?

We suggest arriving at least 30 minutes before concert times to avoid late seating. If you are delayed for a performance, late seating will take place during the first appropriate pause in the program and at the discretion of the management. Patrons seated after the program has begun will be seated when and where it is most considerate to the artists and other patrons. This may not be your original seat. You can return to your original seat after intermission. Please note that some concerts are performed without an intermission.

Can I get a ticket refund if I am unable to attend a concert?

Tickets are non-refundable but, please, offer them to friends and family! If you are unable to use your tickets, you can donate them to the Ticket Office by calling (858) 534-4637 during regular office hours. We will be happy to send you a donation receipt.

Can I purchase tickets on the day of a concert?

If tickets are still available to a concert, they can be purchased at the Box Office in Mandeville Auditorium, which opens 90 minutes prior to the start of the concert. The Box Office is located in the East Room of the Auditorium as is Will Call.

What is appropriate concert dress?

Because our subscription concerts take place on a college campus, dress may be more casual than you find at symphony hall. Most concert-goers dress “smart casual,” meaning slacks and sweater/sports coat for men and pants outfit or dress for women.
